It's almost here! The AJC's Decatur Book Festival presented by Dekalb Medical this weekend is the largest independent book festival in the country. Woo-hoo!
My long-time critique group buddy Donna H. Bowman (www.donnahbowman.com) and I are presenting her BIG CATS and my WOLVES on the children's stage at 2 p.m. on Sunday. We'll both be hanging out at the SCBWI Scouthern Breeze PAL booth, next to the children's stage, all weekend. Many thanks to Little Shop of Stories for their tireless work to connect children's authors and illustrators with young readers (and old ones, too!).
If you've never attended this festival before and you're anywhere near Atlanta, it's worth the effort.You'll just wish you could be two places at one time with all the great speakers at so many different venues.
